Alex Aniel, also known on the internet as cvxfreak, is based in Tokyo, Japan and works as a business development consultant in the video game industry.
He is a co-founder of game music label Brave Wave Productions, while also serving clients such as Limited Run Games, Black Screen Records, Lost In Cult, SUPERDELUXE GAMES, and more.
In 2021, he published his first book, Itchy, Tasty: An Unofficial History of Resident Evil.
When he’s not working or playing games, he enjoys traveling around the world. As of April 2025, he has traveled to 67 countries on all 6 inhabited continents.
